Nigerian Dwarf goats are wonderful companions for children because of their small size and friendly personality. They are also great dairy goats because of the high fat content in their milk. We have had fun learning how to make cheese, ice cream, soap and lotion with our goats milk. We even offer goat milking/ice cream making classes (see our classes link). Goats are also a great livestock project for children involved in 4H. My kids love showing their kids! All of our goats are disbudded, well-loved and make great pets. Our doe, Pepper, won the Champion Dairy Goat award at the Washington County Fair this summer 2019 (see photo), and reserve Champion in 2020. In 2020, her doeling, Ruby, won Best Junior Doe at the fair, and the two of them won Champion Mother Daughter pair. Pepper also won in 2022 Washington County Fair. Pepper is due to have kids July 2022. All kids are reserved.
